Meet the Hearts Behind the Cause
In the fall of 2021, co-founders Emma Avchen and Presley Baesler established Flipping the System with the aim of fostering a safer college environment at the University of Florida. Recognizing a gap in advocacy for survivors of sexual violence, they launched this impactful organization to combat wide-spread sexual violence across college campuses. Today, Flipping the System is dedicated to raising awareness about sexual violence prevention and equipping bystanders with the skills to intervene effectively in unsafe situations.
We believe a campus free of sexual violence is possible.
